Living with Pain
Don’t accept that just because you are active or because you compete you must live with pain or that your recovery and rehabilitation must be lengthy. You can heal quickly or you can heal slowly. The key is to give your body the optimum environment in which to heal and function. If your muscles are functioning properly and your body has the nutrients it needs, there is absolutely no reason you should be in pain. Your body is fully capable of adapting to the stresses imposed upon it through training and competition.

Athletes
Our techniques will not only help athletes recover from injuries quickly, but will also help them prevent injuries from occurring in the first place. Utilizing a system of checks and balances we will prepare your body to be more efficient in training and competition.
Our methods can provide athletes with a means to enhance their sports performance by identifying weak links which diminish efficiency of movement and correcting them to optimize overall function. Athletes see immediate improvements in their performance; from their running speed and economy, to increased power in a swing, to an ability to throw more accurately and at greater speeds.
Some athletes may be predisposed to injury due to having muscular imbalances that place increased stress on their tissues and joints. When an athlete trains at a high level, the imbalances are magnified, and eventually the body reaches a point where it can no longer adapt to the stress.
Moving with muscular imbalances is like driving a car with poor alignment. The faster you drive it, the faster the tires are going to wear out. Your body functions the same way. The body eventually breaks down and lets you know in the form of pain. In most cases, however, the pain symptom showing up is not the problem. The problem is somewhere else along the chain. The pain you are feeling is a result of overstressing an area of the body due to a dysfunction somewhere else.
Conventional therapy will typically treat the symptom with various modalities. This means that the cause of the injury is not being addressed. This oftentimes results in a stalled healing process prolonging your return to activity. Worse yet, if the cause is not identified and appropriately addressed, further, more severe injury is possible.
Unlike most medicines, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat and ice, our treatments are aimed at the cause and are longer-lasting. Our methods accelerate your body’s own healing mechanisms, optimize function, and result in complete recovery. The end result is a quicker return to the activities that you most enjoy!
